Job Title: Inventory Clerk
 

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Organize and maintain material and parts inventory to expedite movement of materials and parts between production areas by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Working from orders, selects materials and supplies from warehouse stock, shelves, or bins

Organize and put away incoming materials and supplies.

Reports, monitors, and expedites material shortages to production.

Assist production with parts discrepancies (wrong quantity, incorrect part, etc.)

Verify, label, count and put away stock.

Cycle count inventory.

Assist other departments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 5-7 years warehouse / stockroom experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information to other employees of the organization in the English language.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to count, add and subtract.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Mas200 is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Forklift Certified
